You reach the striking gorge in the inner Pitztal Valley, the Mittagskogel, in just a few minutes with the glacier underground railway Pitzexpress. Excellent slopes of all levels of difficulty, the distinctive Wildspitze (Tyrol’s highest mountain at 3,774 m) and a fantastic high mountain panorama await you.

1.640 m - 2.800m

The family-friendly ski resort opens from early December until mid-April. The rustic “Pitztal ski hut” with its umbrella bar is right next to the valley run.

You can look forward to attractive variations of the Grubenkopf (2,800 m) mountain at Lake Rifflsee. Guaranteed snow makes skiing here a real joy. The small, but charming resort around Lake Rifflsee, which lies at an altitude of 2,200 m, is extremely popular. As a welcome alternative to the ski runs on the glacier, you can have fun here whether you are a carver, free rider or a fan of groomed slopes. Children under the age of 10 receive a Bambini Free Pass.

1.450 m - 2.450 m

The family-friendly ski resort in the heart of Pitztal. The Hochzeiger resort offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding as well as plenty of fun off the slopes too: tobogganing during the day and at night, impressive demonstrations by the Hochzeiger ski school with music, shows and après-ski fun. The Hochzeiger ski season lasts from the end of November until mid-April. Children under the age of 10 receive a Bambini Free Pass. The free and convenient ski bus takes you from Imst to the Hochzeiger ski area.

Pitztal Glacier Rifflsee

The top trained ski instructors adapt the lessons and ski courses to your personal requirements. Tailor-made ski courses are offered for beginners, advanced and returning skiers, children and teenagers, in groups or completely private.

You will be shown the most beautiful slopes on the Pitztal Glacier and there is also a lot to discover off-piste during ski guiding. In addition, cross-country skiing courses and guided snowshoe and winter hikes can be booked.
